Hoodia Diet Pills

Tips on buying hoodia diet pills and other hoodia products.

Myths are abound when it comes to diets and quick fixes. People catch wind of various fads and spend over $40 billion on weight loss products each year in North America alone. With hoodia on the table, the myths are difficult to deconstruct.

First of all, does it actually work? There are statements in favour and statements against. The sale of hoodia diet pills and other products in North America, however, is not regulated by relevant authorities. The scientific research is still lacking.

This notwithstanding, many of the hoodia diet pills and products described as weight loss miracles are simply not what they claim to be. Some of the products on the market, in fact, don't contain any hoodia at all.

Being unregulated means hoodia gordonii is not tested or certified. You should routinely review, analyze and research any and all statements relating to purity and dosage.

Media and public interest in hoodia gordonii has boosted demand. Diet supplement companies and licensed growers have jumped on the bandwagon. To ensure profit, one is more likely to fudge the numbers when describing the amount of hoodia in the supplement, and the other may be tempted to find and sell plants that only look like hoodia. In order to bypass these potential false claims and representations, you need to use common sense.

Tips on buying hoodia

Buy from established companies. Look for legitimate companies with a confirmed reputation that do their own product testing.

Consult with a registered professional such as a doctor or a nutritionist before taking hoodia. The exact and long-term effects of hoodia have yet to be established, particularly its interaction with medication and various illnesses.

Look for authenticity Labels should define their product as South African hoodia.

Avoid cheap hoodia products. Because of its rarity and limited cultivation, hoodia is expensive. Products costing less $30 are most likely not legitimate.

Investigate potency claims. Hoodia is made in different ways. Alcohol-concentrated hoodia is more potent than whole- plant hoodia. Extraction of the P-57 molecule ensures the highest potency. Remember that only companies with licensed rights are allowed to extract P-57.

Look for products with guarantees. You can literally look for companies that give a guarantee promise, or you can simply make sure you can track the company in some way. Ensure you know their customer service number and address.

Be wary of products citing research and studies. Numbers can be manipulated and so can research studies. No scientific clinical trials on large populations have been done to determine hoodia's effectiveness. Make sure you know who conducted the study and if they have a personal stake in its results.
